This is the ultimate local comfort food spot. The service is great, people are nice, food is really good. Typical diner options . Just finished a turkey club I brought home and so good. The best part is the people to be honest. A must try
It doesn't get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.
Taste of the city was such a great find! I'm always on the lookout for good breakfast joints and the food at taste of the city really hit the spot. I love corned been hash and they happened to have it on the menu, so I had go try it. It was so delicious and fresh! And not greasy at all. They had a wide variety of items and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
First time here today this morning. Cute quaint place to have a perfect quick breakfast and coffee. They also have a big lunch menu and weekend specials as well. Staff was very nice and it looked like a lot of regulars attend there. Will definitely be back.
